The Myth - The Legend - The History

The Dialysis Center is located in a strategic position from a tourist point of view, which favors holidays for dialysis patients. In fact, it is located in the center of the Gulf of Castellammare del Golfo, in the heart of the wonderful province of Trapani, the last strip of western Sicily, a few kilometers from Mount Erice, an intact medieval city where, among other things, the “Ettore Maiorana” study center is located. ”.

For sea lovers there is plenty of choice. In fact, from Alcamo the golden beaches with very fine sand of Alcamo Marina and Balestrate, Castellammare del Golfo with its characteristic tourist port and Scopello with its stacks and its ancient Baglio with a thousand flavors are easily reachable. Without forgetting the wonderful Zingaro Nature Reserve which extends up to San Vito Lo Capo with the beach and sea of breathtaking colours. Just a few minutes away are the Egadi Islands – Levanzo – Favignana – Marettimo with its pristine sea and its beautiful seabed and the island of Mothia, an ancient Phoenician colony from the 8th century BC.

With half an hour on the motorway you can reach Palermo to the EAST, where you can admire the testimonies of its thousand-year history: from the Punic, Greek and Roman remains to the splendid Norman buildings. The Norman Palace, the Palatine Chapel, S. Maria dello Spasimo, today a symbol of the cultural rebirth of the city, the large baroque churches decorated with mixed marble and where you can admire Serpotta’s stuccos. Still walking through the streets of the city you are captured by the triumph of the colors of the historic markets of “Vucciria”, “Capo” and “Ballarò”. The Teatro Massimo, one of the most important opera houses in Europe.

To the West, however, we still find Trapani and its historic center full of palaces and churches, accommodation and night-time activities, half an hour away on the motorway. There’s certainly no shortage of things to do and see…it just takes time, we’ll take care of everything else!
